Myka returned the hug Claudia pulled her in to. It wasn't until now that she realized how much she wanted that form of contact. When they'd gotten back to the warehouse they'd only focused on what to do next. Everyone had been consumed with their own emotions and opinions that comforting one another was at the bottom of the list. If it was on the list at all. As Claudia pulled away Myka eyed the bag of Twizzlers before reaching out and taking it from her. The only thoughts going through her mind at the moment revolved around sugar and getting it into her body immediately. It took a moment but soon she had the bag open and had pulled one out taking a bite.
Things would be better now that she had her precious Twizzler's to combat the stress.
At first she wasn't entirely sure how to answer Claudia's question. There was so much that she wanted to know that helped make the situation make sense. But there were also the questions that had been sparked by things that she had been told. Myka debated with herself internally for what seemed like hours but was in fact only minutes before coming to a decision. Before any answers could be given she wanted to know how Claudia had been so certain that the Warehouse and the artifacts were fine. "I'll ask questions for now. How do you know that the Warehouse and the artifacts are all right? I mean you said you'd been here five months so how could you know?"
