Rachel was grateful to have such amazing friends. She was starting to feel a little bit better, but it was still hard. She couldn't believe that Finn, her one true love and the person that she married was gone. She was glad that they did get married when they did because she couldn't live with herself if she had to wait and he was already gone. At night, she would grasp his pillow and just take him in and dream about him. It was so hard at times to even want to wake up to get to class in the mornings. Her days were full with having to go to school and then of course her job, which she loved.
Since she had the day off, she didn't really know what to do. If she stayed in her room, she would be blaring Barbra and just staring up into the ceiling daydreaming. It felt like a dream to her, but she knew that this was the reality now. She decided that she would skip her whole depression thing for right now and just try and smile again. Singing always made her smile. But besides the Karaoke place, where could she just belt out tunes and not really let anyone listen to her.
Then she got it, she knew that there was a piano in the campus theater. So grabbing her things she took the trolley to the city. There she walked to the University and went into the theater. Thank goodness that it was unlocked. As she walked up the stage, she saw the piano and just started to sing.
After she was finished she just sat there and was crying in her hands. This was supposed to be a happy time in her life. And yet, it just felt like it was all just over. Thinking that it was her fault. Then something came over her and she began to sing a song that she had once written.
Then she really lost it. She began to sob, not knowing what to do, or where to go. Figuring that she didn't want to bother Blaine and Kurt, they deserved to be happy and have alone time. So she just sat at the piano and just stared out.
