Peter Parker ([info]arachnophile_) wrote in [info]makebelievelog,
Peter stared back. He may be awkward and stumbling, but he was braver that most eighteen year old boys. Although no'one in their right mind would call this comfortable, he didn't feel particularly bad for getting that kind of look out of his teacher. Teachers got annoyed at him all the time. If it had been Aunt May giving him that stare he'd probably have run for the hills, but she was his aunt. He adored her, and it was that that made the difference. His gaze did flick a little nervously down to the clicking pen lid, and strong muscles in his shoulders and legs coiled a fraction, ready to propel himself upwards.

"A method or procedure concerning systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses." Peter parroted obediently. After all, he had been to school. He wasn't a complete idiot, just because he wasn't from Anakin's universe and he'd rather be welding stuff together than scrawling numbers into a blackboard. He could do it with his eyes closed, but it wasn't exactly the highlight of his life.

He was also slightly beginning to wish he'd just plugged his question into an internet search engine.
