Padmé was, of course, concerned at Anakin's confession. While she respected the Jedi Master, it wasn't concern over the fact that he might not be there. It was concern over why Anakin hadn't yet told him. Was there a detail she didn't know about, something that was keeping him from wanting Obi-Wan to be present? Had Obi-Wan changed his mind about trying to be supportive of the two having a relationship?

"Ani - why not?" Padmé asked cautiously, the tone in her voice gentle. After a moment of hesitation, she went ahead and asked the difficult question. "Do you want him to be present?"
