Planning a wedding was also unexplored territory for Anakin. The last ceremony had been done in secret, and the details for that clandestine meeting were simple. Two witnesses, the officiator, and no other bodies present but their own. Now there was talk about a standard of dress, there was even jewelry involved (much to Anakin’s confusion) and what to do immediately following the ceremony, all of which Anakin left up to Padmé, agreeing with whatever she said was necessary. As long as it took place, Anakin didn’t care what it entailed.
“It won’t rain,” Anakin reassured. He didn’t know for sure, but that didn’t stop him from declaring his assumption the truth.
He looked down at her, “What could you have possibly left out. We have the time and place confirmed. You’ll be there, I’ll be there. What more is necessary?”
