The decorations looked beautiful. Kurt hated to leave earlier after all the planning but he had to get dressed, which would take some time. Everything needed to be just right with the outfit too. He had decided that his last prom outfit in Lima was a little bit on the progressive side, even though he won prom queen. It was actually a joke that he had turned to his advantage. This year, he didn't want to attract that kind of attention to himself. His classmates seemed to accept the fact that he was gay, and would be attending with his boyfriend, and he didn't want to rock that boat.
Kurt went with classic back, with red accents. He added a bit of blue just to change it up a little bit without looking like the American flag. He ran gel through his hair, just enough to hold it without looking too stiff. It would only require simple touch ups.
He and Blaine walked in, arm in arm and looked around. Kurt was hoping that everyone would make it. He was really close to inviting the entire castle, but he doubted that the school administrators would have allowed it. He did have a lot of friends though, and he was going to make sure that no one was sad tonight.
