Clarisse was confused. Very, very confused. If there was one thing Clarisse hated, it was being confused. Silena was dead, Clarisse watched her die, she then killed the drakon that killed Silena. She went to Silena's funeral. It was the hardest thing she's ever had to do, and now? Now that Silena (or at least someone posing as Silena) was showing up at the castle in the Land of Make-Believe? Clarisse could only assume this girl was nothing more than an imposter. Some sort of shape-shifting creature that needed to die for mocking the death of her best friend. It didn't sit right in Clarisse's stomach, and the fact that Thalia didn't seem concerned, and Percy and Annabeth didn't even bother checking it out made her even more angry. Chiron would never settle for this, he would be sending out investigators to find out why she wasn't in the Elysian fields with all the other heroes who were killed during battle. Maybe Hades was slacking on his job - actually, that made a lot of sense.
Scoffing at the idea of Hades being a slacked, Clarisse entered her bedroom to hide away her Maimer 2. Tucking it in a darkened corner, she shifted the bag with a sandwich, a bag of chips and a soda into her other hand. Closing the door to her room, Clarisse began to wonder how many rooms she was going to have to check before she found Silena. Grumbling to herself, her dark gaze fell on the door directly next to her room which was opened. Shaking her head, Clarisse figured if Silena was back from the dead, why wasn't it unlikely that she would be roommates with Clarisse? Weirder things have been happening, that was for sure. Cautiously inching her way to the opened door, Clarisse stuck her head in the room. What she saw in there was something that left her speechless.
There she was. If this Silena Beauregard was an imposter, she was a damned good one, that was for sure. Narrowing her gaze on the young girl, Clarisse's jaw set as she began to grind her teeth, "Of course." She said more to herself than to Silena, "Of all the rooms in this freakin' castle, you're my room mate." Arching a brow, a crooked smirk curled on her lips. "You know, this stuff is starting to get predictable. I've decided, everything that I think can never happen, will happen here." Tossing the lunch bag onto Silena's bed, Clarisse was waiting to hear Silena's voice. That was what would tell her if she was real or not. Something about the Ares and Aphrodite connection would trigger in Clarisse... eventually. That's how it worked, right? That's why of all the campers at Camp Half-Blood, Silena was really the only true friend Clarisse had. It was written in Clarisse's genes to befriend her.
Which was why, right then and there, she wanted to hear Silena talk, just so her nerves can reassure her that this girl in front of her was real, and that she didn't have to keep being such a bitch to her.
