"I suppose so," Elphaba agreed. She hadn't really thought about. It had been annoying, more than anything, waking up here. But then there was a part of her that had been pleased to wake up here in the castle rather than on her thin mattress in the cold Mauntery - it wasn't exactly how she'd wanted her life to turn out. But she had left Liir behind. Again.
"I've heard of it," she nodded, reaching out to shut the book she'd had propped open and place it neatly down at her elbow. She wouldn't really be getting much reading done here now. "The United States. Not the African Confederacy." Elphaba tugged the sleeves of her jumper down over her green hands and crossed her arms over the table, glancing around the dining room. "Oh. It's a place called Oz," she turned back to Nyota with a shrug. "I can't say I miss it much."
