They took some seats about three quarters of the way back. Mitchell kept his jacket and gloves on as Lisa shrugged off her own outer layers, and tried really hard not to notice the elegant sweep of her pale throat as they settled back. He really should have got that popcorn. At least that would have given him something to... well... bite.
He took a deep breath and leaned into her a little to hear the words she was hissing across. "You went to see films on your own?" he asked, keeping his own voice low. The lights had dimmed part of the way, leaving them in some weird half-light, made weirder by the flickering of light on the screen. "I don't think I've ever done that!"
He drew his eyebrows down to drown at the screen. "So what's this film we're seeing supposed to be about?"
