Keleios was only about an inch shorter than Cas--her Elvish heritage was closer to that of Tolkien's elves than, making her tall and statuesque--but somehow, Sam, in all his human glory, towered over them both. She had to smile; and she could imagine that Sam would excel at all kinds of sporting events, but beyond that, Castiel always looked so radiant when he spoke of Sam. She was glad to see that nothing had diminished that glow.
"The children are always eager to learn. Something about learning magic seems to make it more exciting than mundane studies, for many of them. Perhaps I ought to give out more homework," she said, a soft laugh creeping into her voice. "Even some of the non-magically inclined students seem to enjoy learning magical theory. And yes," she added, as the subject changed to her dinner with Dustfinger, "We went to a very pleasant restaurant, and I enjoy his company a great deal. But then, I always do."
