Never one to give clear and concise answers Al lived up to his reputation in his texts, leaving Regulus bewildered to the point that he failed to catch the rebounding orange ball in lieu of trying to make sense of the nonsensical things Al was sending. Regulus knew Albus couldn't be in the copy room, the configuration of that room had remained static since the day he'd started working. And the only other place they had a printer...

"You can't be here you know?" He said when he opened the door to the supply room and found Al knocking about the broken printer to the side. "Someone might catch you."

	"I'm still standing here, aren't I?" Al asked, grinning. Toner was smudged on his face and the corner of his mouth. In his hands was a cup of coffee and a muffin. A large muffin. "Only because of luck," Regulus retorted, but he was grinning, too, so it wasn't that scathing. And he still moved to give Albus a light kiss - who couldn't with that grin staring back at him?

Then Albus held up what Regulus could only assume was a decent muffin subjected to an engorging charm, because that was the biggest baked pastry he'd every seen in a muffin wrapper.

"What did you do to it?" Regulus leaned down to inspect the giant muffin, "did you make it with hotdogs?"

Temporary stickiness aside, it would also make Regulus feel better, which was often, if not always, Al's goal. He peeled back the wrapper and broke a tiny piece off the top of the muffin, popping it into his mouth to occupy his brain long enough not to roll his eyes.

Cutlery. Reg conjured cutlery. He conjured cutlery for a muffin. "You're eating a muffin with a fork, you understand this, yeah?"

Al shook his head and speared the second fork into the side of the muffin in resignation. "It's been all right. Got distracted by a bunch of text messages though. Funny how that happens just when I get bored."

"Albus, I think we can safely say this," he waved a utensiled hand around the air that encompassed the muffin, the very large muffin, "has expanded beyond muffin into something more of a cake." And with that, and a cross look to the abandoned spiked fork and knife, he speared his own bite of the muffin and pointedly brought it to his mouth in a civilized manner.

"I had to let you know how I was feeling, it's what you want."

	"It still crumbles like a muffin." Yes, that was petulant of him, but he was covered in toner and eating a muffin with a fork and not his fingers. This was all terribly distressing and taxing.
