[The first message goes unnoticed; the simple beep of the text tone unfamiliar and thus ignored. The second has her looking for the source, and third results in a dubious stare as the phone lights up.

By the fourth, she's attempted the 'slide to unlock' command by doing just that - sliding the phone across the bedside table in the direction the arrow suggests. The fifth beep gets a snappish "What?", and by the sixth, she's poking experimentally.

It's sheerest luck that unlocks the blasted thing, and how she opens the texts is anybody's guess - but the keyboard is obvious once she's read through her delightful cousin's missives, although the letters are in no discernible order.]

[Oh, she hates this thing. Hate hate hates it, because it won't do what she wants, nor does it respond to charms, and she's still in the gown she arrived in. This needs fixing, because cleaning and freshening charms only go so far.]
