[Text message for Galen]
So on Tuesday responsibility rears its ugly head in the form of my traffic court date. Are you free to go with me?

Great. Should probably bring a book. I think the real punishment of traffic violations is the waiting in a stuffy courtroom for hours just for your turn to stand up before a cranky old guy.

... Or something that will keep us entertain whilst not disruptive. Books are usually the first thing people reach for to fulfill that requirement. But I'm open to suggestions.

So...using the Force to make people think there are ghosts around is a no?

As hilarious as that would be I don't want to have to reschedule this due to a mass freakout at the courthouse. The only thing worse about a court date is having to go back for a second one.

But if we get done quickly like you could influence them to take me right away due to some fluke of whatever, we'll have a whole afternoon to do something crazy.

So let's just say that it will, ya? Because, you know.

What do you want to do after?

There's always the go-kart track. Sadly it lacks the bananas and shells from Mario Kart, but it gives you that hands on feel a controller lacks.

Unless the Museum of Art is more your afternoon stroll?

What are go-karts? And Mario Kart?

Oh God, Galen your education is so severely stunted

Go-karts, basically a metal frame on wheels with a seat belt and then an engine dropped on the front. You race around a track with the goal being speed and fun. You know, what we were trying to do with actual car. But you don't need a license for this.

And you need an education on the Ways of the Mario Kart, which must happen between now and Tuesday.
