Well, the popular ones usually involve getting a ball through a hoop or goalpost, similar to Quidditch.

There's football, where you kick the ball around to your teammates. In rugby you carry and pass the ball, it can get pretty rough. Tennis... nah, too boring. Cricket's where you hit the ball with a bat and hockey is where you push a puck around on the ice. American basketball is big there but not so much back in Britain.

Everything else I can think of would probably be too boring.
