What kind of mistake? - Did you try to hide a pet from someone else? Schedule two dates at the same time? Miss the out-of-order sign on an elevator? Eavesdrop on a conversation and misunderstand what was said? Accidentally strike someone on the head and give them amnesia? Loan someone money and then misunderstand how they spent it? Lie to someone about your career/living arrangement/money situation only to have them drop by suddenly? Do something rude to a stranger only to have that stranger turn out to be your new boss/boyfriend's parents?

That protocol was Jeff specific.

Sitcom protocol would be to either:

a) start a relationship

b) avoid each other until something happens to bring you back together, have a long talk and return to being friends

c) simply be friends

d) be friends with benefits

e) one of you to leave the show..or castle.

f) have a relationship later on

Unless all you did was literally sleep together. Many people on sitcoms only think they had sex when all they did was sleep.

My memory wasn't that bad ~~unfortunately~~. Plus there were condom wrappers - I'm a stickler for safe sex even when drunk.

A) No - this is Jeff we're talking about

B) We have like all the same classes and I am not going to drop out because of this.

C) Maybe

D) No, tried that and it turned into all the benefits for him and no friend for me.

E) I'm not leaving.

F) Again, we're back at A.
