There are a lot of wonderful people here who are mortal, and just mortal, but still wonderful. Your literal other half is mortal, isn't he? It's not a happy thing to think about, but that still makes it so it's just a part of life. It makes it so it wasn't your fault in the least.

Besides, your father isn't here and hadn't been here before my death. It was an unfortunate accident in the middle of an attack.

Because I care for you. Among many I have met here you have been the one who has taken the most time to help me when I needed it most. If you saw me you know I was devastated, your loss alone gave me the will to fight and if they were still here and you were not I would fight still until my last breath.

I know he is not and.. I know it was not my fault but saving people is what I do and you are the one I want to save the most of all people.

I remember. I remember worrying at you taking the mindset you did. I didn't want you to somehow get hurt, or get so emerged in the fighting as to lose focus.

No matter who does or doesn't die, no matter if someone is hurt or not, you are a hero with a good heart and you're a person with a good heart. That can't be lost amidst the fighting.

I don't want to make you do anything that will make you feel unhappy, Arthur.

I thought to ask if Christmas together was an option because I don't like in the castle. It doesn't really feel like a safe zone or any area is mine, even my room. I like being with you and Eames and Daniel ~~because~~.

I wanted something genuinely enjoyable~~where I'm not ju~~. If it wouldn't be, I don't want to push you into it by guilt for my sake, Daniel's, or anyone else's.

Kurt just suggested I come over, so it looks like you may have me soon for company for a movie. I suggested Flinstone's Christmas. Kurt is being nice and agreed to go with the rather awful, not-classic Christmas special retro pick of mine. And thank you.

I'm not too worried about it. Mine is just something small for both of you, but I figured they might be useful and - well, I don't want to give exacts away.
