I think supper went well, yes? Uncle Lucius seems to be trying -- he didn't even seem cross with me or Hermione. The children were excited and all in all, I'm pleased. What do you think?
Also -- I am not sure how to broach the subject, but --- you, Mum, Uncle Lucius, and Aunt Narcissa raised me. I never once thought it odd to have Uncle punish me or for either you or Mum to talk to Draco about things. Do you think times have changed that much? Did Uncle Lucius and Aunt Narcissa ever resent your interference? Hermione seems to believe I'd be better off leaving my nephews and nieces to their parents and I normally do, but --- if a child is hurting, isn't my responsibility to make sure the parents know? Or am I just forming a wound that shouldn't exist?
Dad, the only thing harder than being a father is being an uncle.
