For once, Acacia felt she had legitimate excuses to shirk her normal daily duties. After all, it wasn't every day that pods dropped out of the sky and deposited strangers on their lands, although she had to admit it would be less exciting if it did occur daily. No, it became clear that there were many; Warren had told her he served with a large crew, and it stood to reason they'd all be located eventually. She rather liked Warren, against her better judgement (strangers falling from the sky were high on her list of people not to trust), and she found herself wanting to learn more about his crew's whereabouts for his sake as much as to satisfy her curiosity.
So, for now, she had extracted herself from the meeting chambers, ostensibly to fetch something for her princess, but instead to take the back way down to the dungeons, on the rumor that a few more persons had been apprehended. Really, she stood little chance of getting caught, since Corran and his guard were still on their way back to the castle, and the rest of the castle guard usually overlooked her. Feeling very satisfied with herself, Acacia picked up her pace as she darted down the underused hallway on the south side.
