Unable to respond as he would have liked, with the other two teenagers there, Derek simply glared at Stiles for questioning his healing abilities. Derek might not have known Stiles for long, but he had already learned that this was typical of him - refusing to do what he was told, even when it was for his own damn good. "I'll distract it, you get as many people out of here as you can," he suggested, because what the fuck else were they supposed to do here? "My sister is getting help."
His attention was quickly caught by the girl though. Her confidence that she could help was surprising, and he grunted his agreement as he unclenched his fingers from around his thigh and allowed her to push his hand out of the way. While she did whatever first aid she intended to do, Derek tried to focus on his senses to figure out where the rogue was. There didn't seem to be as many students in the building as he had been starting to worry there was, but it was still more than he felt comfortable with.
