''Libby'' & Shauna
Soaking up the warmth of the fire, Charlotte reached out her free hand dangerously close to the flames. It was crazy by anyone's standards, but perhaps especially so juxtaposed so recently following a wildfire that caused so much death and destruction for the citizens of Beacon Hills. For Charlotte, it was just a delightfully strange new sensation to feel the searing lick of heat against her skin. The bonfire sparked, causing the flame to leap high enough for her to really feel it. Charlotte hissed in pain and withdrew her hand. Some inborn instinct had her sticking her finger into her mouth to cool the burn. It hurt, but she wasn't upset. Far from it. To feel pain was to be human, to be real and corporeal, something Charlotte desired for so long.
As she sucked on her finger, she peeked up and spotted the redhaired girl nearby. Libby knew this girl. They'd met and interacted before, but Charlotte couldn't recall the name. Having memories, even if it was simply access to someone else's memories, was also still a fresh experience. "Fun, huh?"
She spoke up to try to make conversation. Her first in-body experience of attempting to socialize had gone so poorly by Charlotte's standards. She still couldn't figure out what she did wrong when she tried to kiss Libby's boyfriend. Wasn't that what one did with boyfriends?
