Landry & Sheriff Stilinski
Of course an evening of frivolity for everyone else meant the Sheriff was working. Halloween night was possibly the most mischief laden night of the month, in spite of the bright lights and general cheeriness of the annual Beacon County Fair, so naturally John and several of his deputies were on duty and patrolling the fairgrounds. With nothing of note coming through his radio and knowing it was bound to be a late one tonight, John figured it wouldn't hurt to slip into line for a refill on coffee to keep him on his feet.
While he waited in line, he heard a familiar voice behind him, one he hadn't heard in some time. Turning around confirmed the speaker to be Landry Morasco, a fairly prominent local business owner. Once in a while, the Sheriff's department had to show up to his establishment for the occasional bust of some clubber, but Landry has always been polite and cooperative. Over time, the man had come to be a friend.
John grinned. "You probably heard right, but at this point, I'll take just about anything as long as it's caffeinated."
