Re: Libby & Kira
The overwhelming quality of the atmosphere was a surprise to Libby, too. Although the sheer crush of people tended to make itself known at both the beginning and end of the school day, at lunchtime, and in between classes, those were still moments of staggered release. People didn't converge like this on any normal given day. At this point, Libby was just glad about her footwear choices. At least she was wearing comfortable shoes.
"It's not so bad," said Libby, though her smile was admittedly a little tired. "Most students have been asking very college-specific questions, so I've just been directing them to the right rep for their answers. But Kinesiology. Sacramento. That's good. That's what you're thinking of majoring in?"
Her Mary Janes click-clacked softly down the hallway. It was a quick trek to her office, but the way Kira was lugging the bag, she thought to ask, "Can I help you share the load of that, by the way? That looks really heavy, and I wouldn't want your bag to split."
