She grew a blood red vision for all their good intentions
WHO: Parker & Thezor
WHEN: Thursday- Late evening
WHERE: Outskirts of town (San Francisco)
WHAT: An accident that only looks like an accident
RATING: TBD
Her mind had raced for weeks, filled with only the face of a peculiar stranger. Every time she turned her head, she could swear she could see him out the corner of her eye. He haunted her dreams, ever present within them. He'd even taken up residence in visions of hers, cryptic as they were, now more than just the two she'd had in his presence (though the latter those, he hadn't been in). Yes, she'd had more and like the ones he'd induced- without her knowledge, of course- signs seemed to be leading her toward him, something that made her excited and uneasy all at the same time. Still, she kept it to herself, feeling a bit possessive of it. They were things she saw, something she didn't want to share. And every time someone asked her if she was all right or suggested she was acting strange, she lashed out at them. No one else needed to know about her very guilty pleasure.
She'd kept to herself, withdrawing from everything else that was going on with the family and the rest of the magical world. Ever since the attack at the Magic School, Parker saw to it that she was not involved. Getting slapped around by some- what did they call them? Deatheaters?- was not something she wanted to repeat. Not having an active power had serious drawbacks. And more and more, it was seeming like the others kept believing they could just rely on her to foresee things, like just taking for granted the fact that she would always want to help. It made her feel used and angry for it.
She just needed some time alone. Again. She'd been needing a lot of that lately, something she did on a whim. She never told anyone when she'd leave or where she was going, needing the anonymity. Besides, if they really wanted to find her that bad, most of them could just sense her anyway. Though, that too was getting to be rather annoying.
She simply stood, the windy air atop the hillside blowing just as angrily as she felt. The city looked small and insignificant from where she overlooked it, the lights like speckles and cars like traveling bugs. Glancing up, she could see the storm clouds forming. Perhaps it was time to go, but that didn't mean she was ready to rejoin the family and get back to the chipper way of things. It was almost depressing to think about it. Whoa.
