Well, Phoebe had forgotten. There was no getting around it. With her book blowing up the charts, and all the trouble with demons, and the fact that her daughters seemed to be avoiding her... well, it was a wonder that Phoebe could keep her head straight. It was a good thing her assistant was on top of things. Otherwise Phoebe might have scheduled something over her lunch with Paige, or just worked her way right through lunch entirely. But thankfully, she was just finishing up her column.
Looking up for a brief second, Phoebe held up a finger to indicate just one more minute. She finished scanning the page and then hit print. Even with her book out and her partial ownership of the paper in recent years, Phoebe was still writing her column which meant she was always on a deadline. But with it printed, she had a brief moment to see what was going on around her. And lifted her head to find Paige there asking for lunch. "Oh my god, Paige, I completely forgot. Yes, I'm ready. Just let me get my column to Elise and we can head out."
Phoebe hopped up, moving around Paige and into the main office. She grabbed her column off the main printer and knocked on Elise's door. She hardly waited for an answer before swooping in, dropping her column on the desk, and sprinting out before Elise could stop her. She pushed back into her office, grabbed her purse and then wrapped a hand around Paige's elbow to rush her out of the office before Elise stopped them to try and make Phoebe do something else.
