"Everything's done except the food, Peyton. But thank you." Honestly Phoebe couldn't understand how she'd gotten such a well behaved daughter. It was probably Coop's influence. Phoebe couldn't even remember a time where she'd had to raise her voice to Peyton. The girl always did as she was asked and never did what she wasn't supposed to. It was amazing.
Whereas Parker, who was equally as sweet, had a habit of meddling... no matter how many times Phoebe told her not to. That, too, was probably Coop's influence. Penelope was probably the only one who took after Phoebe more than Coop. But even that wasn't too bad. The girls had all always gotten along, and the older they got, the closer the family got. It was exactly what Phoebe had always wished for.
"No, you're just on time, Parks. Have you seen your sister? I'm surprised she's not here yet." Okay, not that surprised, really. But it was almost time to eat.
