Penny glanced between Wyatt and his girlfriend and then back to Christy. Oh crap. Christy was crying. That wasn't supposed to happen. Penny glanced at Phyl, glad she had at least thought to bring her sister on this little trip. Phyl could deal with Wyatt while Pen dealt with poor little Christy.
She moved back and wrapped her arms around her little cousin. "Don't let him upset you. This isn't your fault. You didn't do anything wrong. Stop crying, Chrissy, honey. Please? It's okay, really." Pen shot Wyatt a very upset glare. He didn't need to go upsetting Christy over it!
Isabella, however, was less than amused. She crossed her arms over her chest for a minute, looking back and forth between the group. Then she huffed and pulled the door open more. "Well don't just stand there in the bloody hallway. Get in here." Isabella gestured to her flat, the one large room that served as living room, bedroom, and kitchen. It was clean for the first time in forever. They might as well bring all this drama inside, no point leaving it on the damned steps.
