Well Isabella couldn't help but take his silence as a bad thing. And with good reason. It wasn't really the best situation. And definitely not one Isabella ever thought she'd find herself in. She was more responsible than that. And so was Wyatt. It made her feel even more out of control of the situation than she already had. And it bothered her. But what bothered her more was Wyatt's silence about the whole thing. He was never that quiet.
Isabella rolled over when she felt Wyatt climbing into bed with her back to him. She shoved her arms up under her head and under the pillow. She kept trying to convince herself it was just the pregnancy hormones. It wasn't that dire of a situation. She didn't need to cry. She was just over-reacting. But she really couldn't help it, now could she. She swallowed the lump in her throat, trying her damnedest not to start crying. That would just make this the perfect day, now wouldn't it? Most assuredly not.
