Pen nodded as they parked. She clicked open her seat belt and pushed open her door. "You're right. I remember what Wyatt went through when that bitch dumped him. We can't let her do this again." The moral lines were a bit blurred at the moment. All the things their mother had taught them were pushed aside for the moment. Personal gain be damned right now. Pen and Phyl were doing something better.
Trusting her sister to follow her, Penny headed into the hospital. She knew Sam was on lunch right now because she felt the other woman's hunger and happiness at the idea of food finally. And she wasn't hard to spot. She was sitting at a table alone, looking kind of melancholy. Penthea took in a deep breath and then smiled encouragingly at her sister (although it was, again, more for herself).
