When she called her wand to her and used it to find her shoes, his mouth fell open, but he quickly closed it. He could have used his powers to find them, just by calling the shoes to him, but he also wanted to see her magic, but he didn't understand why she didn't just call the shoes to her if she could call her wand like that. He wasn't sure if she wanted to count tonight as work, but he went with it. "The way our powers work, though, there's this thing called personal gain. It's not good. If we use our powers for our own personal gain, bad things happen. It's kind of like karma. I think it's what keeps us grounded, so we don't turn evil or something." He took her hand and pulled her to him when she had her shoes on. He didn't need her to hold him close to orb, but he wanted her to.
The next thing they would have seen would be the attic in the Halliwell manor. It was cluttered with children's toys that used to be his, or Chris' or Prue's, and then just beside the book in it's place was a large stone with a sword stuck in it, just tucked beside the window. He had left it here instead of his apartment when he went to London, and just forgotten to take it back. He walked over to the book, pulling her behind him and started flipping through the pages. "So, we're looking for acid claws and energy balls, right?"
