The thought had crossed Teddy's mind, that marriage would simply complicate things more. He could understand what her reservations over it were, but to be perfectly honest... he didn't care. There was no one else Teddy would have liked to argue day in and day out with. he had seen plenty of his friends go through divorces, and plenty of his family stayed together even when they hated their spouses more than life itself. The latter was not exactly one that he was ever looking forward to, but he understood how it was just so. Some couples just didn't transition well into marriage well, but they would be different. He had to believe that because he wanted this more than anything. Sure they could have a family without it being official or anything, but the official part of it was half the fun.
"I'm just saying for, you know, some day," Teddy shrugged and looked around to where the small family had moved to and smiled. They were such a cute little family. "I want you to know that... that I have a plan. And I have an idea of what I want... and that's you."
