Teddy took a deep breath and took Victoire's hand. They walked through the store to the escalator and he leaned against the side of it, looking over the store. It was all a little strange to finally want to talk about these things with Victoire, and maybe he wouldn't have, but this whole demons thing made him realize that if he died now, well, there would be no one to carry on his name. He'd be forgotten, and maybe that was part of the reason why his parents had had him when they did. Maybe they didn't want to be forgotten either, and they had done a fabulous job of making sure of that. Growing up, all Teddy ever heard about was his parents. How they were such wonderful people, and how they would have been proud. It made him happy to hear those things, and he was glad for it. Maybe one day, he'd have kids of his own and people would tell him how wonderful he was.
"Victoire, have you ever thought about the future," he asked quietly and looked up with his big puppy eyes. "About our future, I should say... Things like, getting married and having a family, with me?"
