Teddy had taken Victoire out for the evening, on a date like the ones they used to go on all the time before she had left. It had been a long time since he had gone out with anyone who wasn't Isabella, and when his partner in crime for the night was Victoire, he always knew something interesting would happen. So far nothing too exciting had happened, but it was only ten, and the night was very young. All the lights were on in the street, and it was crowded, but that was expected as school was out.
The funny thing about walking down muggle London was that they were somewhat anonymous. No one in muggle London knew them, or who they were. Teddy and Victoire could just be themselves without having to worry about offending someone by not stopping for small talk. Sure it was more crowded, but it also felt a million times more private at the same time. Teddy took his partner's hand in his own and smiled as they walked by a bookstore, a regular one that didn't have a secret passage in the back.
"You want to go into Hamley's," he asked. Being twenty seven years old never stopped Teddy from wanting to go into the five story toy store. Besides, one was never too old for toy soldiers or remote controlled cars.
