She took the offered phone, shoving her own busted one into one of her pockets. She didn't dial however, simply staring at the cell like she was unsure of what to do with it. Something was odd, off about everything. The thing was, though, that it didn't feel unnatural, not at all. For some inane reason, she couldn't find it within her to see any of it as unreasonable. Even without any kind of knowledge or rational thinking, it felt like it fit into place.
Especially the offer of a ride. That alone was enough for a red flag; Parker never took rides from strangers. This stranger didn't seem like a stranger though. A ride wouldn't hurt, right? Besides, she was a witch and if he tried something funny, she could just teleport away. So, there wasn't any real reason to refuse. Perhaps she'd even get a name out of him for a change.
She handed him back his phone, not having used it. Why bother frazzled Mom or busy Dad if she didn't have to? The vision could wait til later, she'd just have to tell her mother about it then. And London, it seemed, would have to wait. She wasn't about to try going after seeing what she'd just seen. Call it selfish, but Parker happened to like not getting run over by cars. "Sure, I guess," she answered.
