The sensation was peculiar, to say the least. She felt like she was being pulled in two different directions- one to leave and one to stay. She knew she should just go, just let him think whatever he wanted. What were the chances she'd see him again, especially after bumping into him twice? But strangely enough, the mere idea of walking away and never seeing him again was just... well, depressing. And at the moment, staying a moment more was winning. Go figure. Maybe there was something more to this. Maybe.
"Uh," she paused, thinking on it for a moment. "Do you have a phone I could use? I should probably call my mom or dad to come get me." If she was going to stick with the crazy thing, then it was probably best that she act it right. Someone with problems who had just freaked out shouldn't be driving. Ugh.
