"Muggles is mortals, right? I mean, non-magic people?" Penthea was pretty quick on the uptake. She could usually remember hordes of information thrown her way. She just wanted to be sure because this was like information overload here. "Wait- Scorpius? Albus Severus? Really?" Pen tried not to laugh, because with a name like Penthea she really couldn't be judgmental... but still! Very amusing.
Magic had age limits here? That was no fun! Some of her family had been doing magic from the womb. Wyatt, her or Phylicia, Aunt Phoebe. And these kids weren't allowed? That seemed ridiculous to her. But Pen didn't say anything. That would be rude. Different cultures did things differently!
Waving her hand, Penthea indicated that Daphne should lead and followed her. "You know, I thought that was just a stereotype. All the mortals dress up like witches in black with pointy hats and brooms and warts on Halloween. Which, if legend stands correctly, my Aunt Phoebe started when she went into the past once, as a distractionary technique." Pen understood the different timelines and the way one past could create their future but most people didn't, so she didn't bother trying to explain it to them.
