Julian helped Parker to sit down. He crouched down beside her, looking very concerned. As concerned as he would be if, say, he had no idea his sister had just had a vision. He was just some concerned stranger, worried that he had hurt this poor sweet girl. God, it was fun to play nice! It made him feel so evil. He was so devious. And while Julian didn't want to deceive his sister, he was getting closer and closer to his ultimate goal.
Jingling his pocket with his free hand, Julian shook his head. "No, it's okay, I put it in my pocket." Standing up, Julian took a seat across from her. At this point it would probably be smart to leave. He didn't want to give her a chance to find anything out at all. But he couldn't leave her yet. He was drawn to his baby sister like he'd never been drawn to anyone. So he sat.
"Are you sure you're okay? You don't want water? Should I find a doctor? You didn't look right a few seconds ago." Well, that wasn't entirely true. It looked right to Julian. But he didn't want her to think that he thought that! Oh the joys of being devious!
