I laugh incredulously. "Of course I know why you were jinxed. It was because you sneaked, believe it or not." Saying that, she probably won't believe it, though I don't see how she can keep denying it when she signed that piece of parchment the same as everybody else.
"You know," I say, "people would be a lot more willing to forgive you if you just owned up. Me, Ron Weasley - you're not the only person with parents in the Ministry. But I expect you didn't even think about us, right? You were just looking out for yourself."
I don't even know why I'm bothering to go through all this again, since we've had plenty of arguments in the journals along the same line. People ask her why she sneaked, she denies it, everyone gets angry. But I need to know why. Maybe she's just that disloyal, but why risk the jinx? How could running to Umbridge have been the better option?
