Tracey, Parvati P: Lavender and I arrived at the chamrs classroom and peeked in to see who was there. OK, we were a little late. But really, it takes ages to look this good and it so wasn't good to be the first person there. You had to be able to make an entrance!
I'd eventually found a dress to go with my shoes (I'd just gone with plain black but it looked good anyway) and I was wearing a long, pink necklace and a pink ribbon tied to be like a headband in my hair. I'd even painted my nails 'Umbridge Pink'! Well, that's not what the nailposlish was actually called, it had a prettier name than that but I could still only think of it as Umbridge pink. It looked bettron me than Umbridge though, even if I do say so myself.
Entering the room, Lav and I made our way over to the punch table and got ourselves a drink, Mmm, yummy! Then we looked around the room for Tracey. It was the polite thing to do to greet the host but she looked a little busy at the moment. We'd just have to talk to her later.
T: Finally greeting the person she'd hoped to come the most--because of her fashion sense. She'd give everyone a fifteen percent off coupon to Twilfitt and Tattings--she had to; her mother forced her.
"Pavarti, thanks for coming, your dress is lovely."
Unusually bubbly for Tracey, she'd started looking a little suspicious, but what the hell, it's a party.
"Please help yourself to some punch."
P: "Thanks!" I say, beaming. "Do you like the shoes?" I ask, sticking out one of my feet so she can see them.
"I've got some already." I say, lifting my punch cup up slightly. "It's really good." I take another sip.
"Anyway, I hope you have a great party and happy very late Birthday!!"
T: "I do love them Pavarti, and thank you. Glad you like the punch." She returned her grin, feeling more and more 'green' inside. The punch was working, and it was working well. But now she was hoping a lot more on Ginny Weasley, what a shame. "Too bad Padma's not here, but it's nice to see you." She gave her a wave and preceded over to a small trunk to start the best of the festivities.
P: "I know," I say, looking disappointed. "I tried to convince her to come but she didn't want to for some reason. She's probably doing homework or something." I pull a face at the thought of doing work instead of going to a party. I wave back then continue talking to Lavender.
