Who: Stacey and Open! Anyone can join, people who want to play, people who want to laugh - don't be shy!
Where: Outside, Courtyard?
When: October 17, 1995
Why: Why not?
It's one of those perfectly lovely days outside. The kind where you just want to be outside and certainly not inside studying. I brought my books outside and tried studying under a tree for a while, but again, it's just so lovely, and the tree I'm sitting under has lost most of its leaves...
And this is how I find myself with my books abandoned where I was sitting and gathering the leaves from nearby trees and making a huge pile with them. And once that's complete with a running leap I jump into them, listening to them crackle as they get stuck on my jumper and in my hair and I don't care if anyone else outside thinks I'm an idiot. Fourteen or no, sometimes it feels good just to act like a kid again.

Normally I don't go out of my way to take points, but I'm in that kind of a mood today. Besides, there's something familiar about the girl rolling around in the leaves - and then I realise that she's the Mudblood who ran to Flitwick about my choice of vocabulary. (Naturally I had someone point her out in the corridors after Flitwick gave me a lecture and took points. Know thy enemy and all that.) Well, in that case... I stand up and motion to Crabbe and Goyle to follow me, then I saunter over to where Fairchild is acting like - well, like a Muggle. "It's against school rules to defile your robes," I say casually, crossing my arms. Of course, I have no idea if that's true, but I can make it sound like it is - and that's all that matters. Behind me, Crabbe and Goyle snigger. |

Blissful play interrupted. I open my eyes to see Draco Malfoy standing there. With those big scary friends he's always with. Eep! "But I'm not...wearing my robes," I say looking down at my jeans and jumper, "It's Sunday. So how am I defiling anything?" Oh dear. |
