Who:Flora Athena and Brighid Where: Their flat When: Saturday evening, after Athena returns from Hogsmeade What: Oh, random chatting. They're still getting to know one another, after all. Status: Threaded, incomplete Rating: Probably not above PG
It had been a long day. A glorious, lovely day, but long nevertheless. Flora had cut her morning lesson short -- but the couple who had engaged her to teach them to waltz wasn't upset with her. In all actuality, this lesson -- the final one -- had been a mere formality. They had accomplished what they sought at least the week before, and today they had only worked on technique a bit more. They'd been pleased with the opportunity to have more time than they'd planned to go shopping and meet his parents for lunch.
And then Hogsmeade. Flora had met Roland, and they'd spent an hour together, but it, like all things, had to end and she'd hugged him extra long before they parted. The rest of the day had been spent seeing other friends and reconnecting -- and at the end of the day she was glad to come home to the little flat she shared with Brighid. She hated slipping back into the role of Athena as it had been nice to be Flora for a little while again, but it was necessary.
Hair (much blonder than it had ever been before) pulled back she spread her Arithmancy texts over the kitchen table. She was doing well as a part-time Arithmancer, but if she wanted to be able to pull in a decent wage without killing herself, she'd need N.E.W.T.s, and hopefully she would be able to take them when the spring exams were held. For now, she studied, humming softly to herself.
