Birthdays Clare Breckenridge - November 5th Donald Proudfoot - November 5th Beverly Malkin - November 7th
Prompts Prompt 1 - On going - Open to 10 Characters Wait - what's this? That surely wasn't nice. Why didn't that person write that behind a ward? Or did they try to? On the 9th, it seems like the journals are going haywire! Well, at least for a certain few. Ten journals are open to have lost their ability to ward in both entries and comments. Hopefully they don't say anything too embarrassing before Dumbledore can fix it! Note: Comments are screened for this W.I.R. specifically for this prompt. For even more fun regarding it, we're asking that you do not tell anyone in advance if your character will have a broken journal. It adds to the fun! FILLED! Thank you loveys!!
Prompt 2 - 5th of November The MWPPs decide that the Fifth of November should be remembered in style. As such, during the entire dinner feast on Monday, there is a fireworks display going on over head. The finale? A firework shaped Lion eating a firework shaped Snake, and the words "Slytherins Stink" in Maroon and Gold. So much for house unity!
Prompt 3 - Friday (& Saturday) evening Students who did not complete September's or October's Dumbledore assignment will be serving detention with Professor Binns on Friday night. (Students who didn't do either, will be serving detention on Saturday night as well). Students in detention on Friday night are in for a rather interesting surprise, when Professor Yoxall comes in the room in a panicked frenzy foretelling the death of Professor Binns himself. Professor Binns begins droning on in his dull, monotone voice, about how unreliable the art of Divination was, and seemed unimpressed by his claim of oncoming death. Professor Yoxall leaves the room practically screaming about how idiotic he was being, making QUITE the scene.
Prompt 4 - Saturday - Quidditch Gryffindor V. Ravenclaw! The game itself will not be logged/thread, but there will be a post discussing major events of the game!
Prompt 5 - Alumni - DE/Auror/MLE Plot The political unrest that is growing about the unsolved cases gets settled slightly when a man comes into the MLE Offices on Tuesday and confesses to the Phelps murders, the Shiver murders, and the Nikita Patil case. The man knows intricate details about the cases, and proves to be a convincing confession. The catch? He's been imperioed by Death Eater A, at the bidding of the Dark Lord, to throw the Aurors further off their scent. The Ministry, MLE, and Auror office are uncertain what to do about this, as something just seems unsettling about this situation. Was that small in stature, middle aged man, really capable of doing such atrocities? How could he pull off the Shiver murders, for one? The only thing that came of this false confession, was the confirmation that the Phelps family was, indeed dead, and the confession lead the MLE to the bodies. After harboring this witness for an entire week, under strict guard, down in the dungeons portion of the Ministry, the Minister seemingly ruefully sends the old man to Azkaban, though his staff was certain this was a fake confession. The Minister really didn't care one way or the other if the guy had done it, as it looked good to be able to say that the Ministry caught the bastard responsible for deaths and murders. The Dark Lord has told his Death Eaters that something big was coming, but he has yet to confide in what, only that they should be prepared for his call.
