She just gave him a look that dissolved into a smile because she knew he understood where she was coming from and what her tastes were. A beach was not her idea of a good time, not in the slightest, but the idea of seeing the borealis was absolutely appealing to her. She'd have to see if any of the transporter locations went anywhere that far north, where they could see it clearly and make it worthwhile.
"That does sound like a great trip to take. And there's no reason we couldn't take Lizbet with us. We'd have to wait until she's a little older, but it's not like we'd go anywhere in the next couple of months anyway." Not with the holidays coming up. They'd be expected at Christmas at the very least, and the New Year should be celebrated together, but after that? It was possible they could give a trip a try. "If we don't like it, we can always come back sooner than planned."
Jane let go of his arm and folded her hands in front of her, always aware of just how much time she spent touching him. "Do you think we'd have to leave her behind?" He tended to know more of the practical rules in regards to babies than she did. It wasn't as though Jane didn't care, she just overestimated sometimes what babies were capable of withstanding. As much as she wanted to travel the world, Jane was sure she wouldn't be able to stay more than a few hours away from her daughter.
