WHO Everyone WHAT Stark Family Housewarming WHEN Sunday, Nov 10, noon-10pm WHERE 419 N Cedar Cliff Dr WARNINGS TBD, kick me if needed but there best not be STATUS Open | Party Post
The house had a very cabin chic feel, much like their cabin had been in their world. It was homey and lived in, but as perfectly clean as it could be with an almost five year old running about. There were folding side tables set up in the living and family rooms dotted with all sorts of finger foods. It was still a bit chilly out, only 61F, so while the backyard was definitely open for people to peruse the deck and hang out there, Pepper fully anticipated most people sticking to the house as the afternoon wore on and it got cooler. As promised, she left most of the schmoozing to Tony and handled cooking on the grill herself to keep the mountain of food in the kitchen well stocked. There were burgers, hot dogs, a wide assortment of veggies, and an even more endless array of sweets and treats courtesy of the bakery and a bit from Ella and Bucky as well, despite Pepper's gentle protests.
Though the whole house was open for people to enjoy, guests were definitely encouraged to simply tour the upstairs bedrooms as opposed to hanging out up there. The exception being, of course, if Ryder or Peter wanted to show friends their rooms and avoid the boring adults for a bit. They were also more than welcome to show people the workshop that had been built on the property, clear on the other side of where Morgan's play set was, which was also open for the children to play if they wanted. The doors were open for folks starting around noon, if a bit earlier, and they'd keep the party going until folks dissipated. With all the recent losses, it seemed like it might be good to have closer time together.
