WHO Evie & John Murphy WHAT Checking out Wal-Mart WHEN Thursday afternoon (forward dated) WHERE Wal-Mart WARNINGS 50% chance of sex, 100% chance of flirting STATUS Closed | Incomplete
Evie wasn't sure if she'd ever been to Wal-Mart since arriving in Madison Valley and if she had, it had been a very long time ago. It was worth checking out again, at least to see what sort of company it was that liked to promote people they didn't like. She didn't even fully understand what was so bad about working there versus anywhere else, since people were just universally terrible regardless of where they were, so looking around would possibly help with that. She thought she might have looked out of place in her mini skirt, platform boots and crop top, but as she walked idly through the isles, she saw far too many fashion crimes for her liking. Did no one know how to dress their body these days? Let alone for appropriate public consumption?
She'd just witnessed a very ridiculous interaction between a customer and employee to the point where even she was uncomfortable. That didn't happen often at all, something she could count on one hand, so as she moved over to the next isle, she was completely not paying attention and nearly ran right into another employee who was handling something or other. "Oh, sorry," she muttered before she'd realized that she'd walked into Murphy of all people. Evie wasn't sure if she'd wanted to run into him or not, but she supposed now that point was moot.
"This place is weird," she pointed out, not making any move to step away from him. She quite liked being close to him. "I can see why you'd need to not look like you want to murder people." Evie grinned and let her hand sit flat on his chest. "What I just saw in that aisle never needs to be seen by anyone."
