"It wasn't bad," Fitz said. "Jemma and I have a ward now, in addition to the children, so adjusting to that has to be a thing. He's a perfectly lovely young man, though, so it's not any trouble."
He was glad that he and Jemma could provide guardianship to a young person who needed a place to stay -- the townies were overall far better than they'd been, but it was still hit or miss on the ones that were used as guardians.
"But overall, it wasn't a particularly eventful weekend or anything. I suppose that's a good thing in this town, no matter what."
