Who: Clove and OTA What: People-watching... sort of When: Saturday afternoon Where: Walmart Status: Open/On-going Clove still thought Halloween was more than a little weird, honestly, but if there was one part of it she did enjoy? It was the candy. Even with being from a Career District, there were things they just hadn't had a whole lot of, and candy was one of them. Leftover, discount candy was the best but she also wasn't above hip-checking bitchy soccer-mom Karens out of her way to get at what she wanted. That was when she just looked at them all cute and adorable... and then gave them the finger.
She was so potentially adorable that nobody ever stopped to think that she was the one to watch out for. It was kind of fantastic, really. Troublemaker, her? Yep. Happily.
At the moment, though, she was behaving. Absolutely looting the candy section -- though not completely for herself, she did share with the others at the Settlement, thank you very much -- but she was behaving. Really. Even if she did kind of want to bounce an empty box off some woman's head. She wasn't going to do it, but damn if she wasn't thinking about it. It was legitimately deserved, which made Clove feel better about the urge, but... no. Walmart was not the place to get herself in trouble.
She sighed in relief when the woman moved on. "Oh, thank God," she muttered under her breath. "I was not in the mood."
