Sombra & Ella
Ella liked Sombra, though she was careful not to be overly welcoming in deference to her husband. Still, she was grateful that the other woman was in town to give Jesse a sense of familiarity from his world, even if it wasn't the kind of familiarity he probably would have wanted. Still, she greeted the woman warmly and shifted to give Sombra a good view of the baby.
"She's quite small, isn't she? Though she looks it more so when he's holding her," Ella replied, fond of the sight of her husband holding their daughter. She would have liked it more had he held a son, but she knew such things didn't really matter in this time period and certainly not to Jesse. It was still something of a novelty, for women to be allowed many of the same rights as men.
"He has been, of course he has. Though I fear I have not made it as easy on him of late. The latest drama from the Dome has left us feeling out of sorts, but things are on the mend. How are you, Ms Sombra?" she asked, genuinely interested in how the other woman was doing.
