"I had help," she admitted with a sheepish grin. "My guardian's husband stress bakes too, so we kind of went a little overboard. But! It resulted in this very impromptu bake sale and I'm all about supporting my team." Whatever marriage issues Bucky and Kara were having didn't really impact her relationship with either of them, luckily enough. She knew that however it shook out, they'd probably all consider themselves family. That was a big deal for Kim, being so close to her own and not having them here.
"It's nice to meet you too, Leia," Kim added as she nodded at the other woman's decision for a brownie. "That'll be three dollars please," she said, "and you can pick whichever one you want." She'd priced things in such a way that might encourage people to be inclined to say 'keep the change', which was great because she didn't have to pay Kara or Bucky back for the cost of the ingredients. Everything she made would go right to her squad. "Cheerleading for us is mostly for supporting our high school athletic teams, keeping the crowd amped up and all. We also perform during halftime and at pep rallies. I'd love to be able to do more competitions, but because of the Dome, we can really only compete with the college and middle school teams. It ends up being more of an exhibition than an actual competition," she lamented.
"Where are you from?" she asked, since anyone who didn't know what cheerleading was probably wasn't from this time period at the very least.
