Leia definitely knew something about feeling at loose ends. There was something almost disgusting about feeling like she had to start her life over from scratch. Almost everything she knew about living life was back home. Here she wasn't royal, she wasn't a leader of any sort, rebellion or otherwise. All of her friends were gone. Oh, and the person she was closest to her was her murderous father. So that was a thing.
School was also not the joyous experience a lot of people had made it sound like it would be. She was great with maths and science but she was so behind on history and literature, things kids who had grown up in this world, or at least similar ones, took for granted.
So she was not going to turn down baked goods. Besides, it was to support a charity. Even if said charity was cheerleading and she wasn't one hundred percent sure what that meant. "I hope there's chocolate in whatever you've got," she offered with a smile. Chocolate was definitely one of those things she was happy to have found on Earth. That and coffee and she was pretty set for life.
