"I get that," she replied, since there were quite a few people who could arrive from her version of things that she wouldn't want to run into here. Jennifer for one, though that was more because the woman was incredibly unhinged and dangerous. There were also people she did wish were here, if only so she could have more time, but that wasn't exactly how things worked and if there was one thing she'd learned already, time wasn't ever going to be on her side.
"No, I don't," Cassie answered, though she did think about the man that had Cole's face. That had been startling in ways she wasn't ready to fully process, but she didn't feel the need to mention it now. Especially when she'd finished up the last of her lasagna. "But hey, at least there's free food, right?" She forced a bit of a smile as she stood. "I'm going to get some more. It was nice talking to you."
